This exciting role involves managing the growing cloud-based server infrastructure of the Straker Translations RAY platform. The successful applicant will be responsible for setting up and managing baremetal and virtual servers across multiple networks, systems monitoring, application deployment and user identity management.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant team in our light filled office on the North Shore of Auckland, in a prime location with easy access to public transport, motorway access and amenities.

Skills and Experience

  • A solid understanding of networks and subnets
  • At least three years’ experience with Linux administration
  • Excellent scripting skill in any scripting language like Bash, Ruby, Python, etc.
  • Understand and implement security, firewalls, intrusion detection systems
  • Exposure to virtualization like technologies like VMWare Vsphere
  • Familiarity with identity management systems like FreeIPA, Red Hat Identity Management
  • Experience with IT automation technologies like Ansible, Puppet
  • System vulnerability scanning and patching
